Jerusalem, 30 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Holocaust Survivors’ Rights Authority has distributed nearly NIS 22 million ($6.5 million) in grants to non-profit organizations assisting Holocaust survivors in 2025 — a 14% increase over the previous year.

The funding includes NIS 18.85 million ($5.6 million) for social programs and NIS 3.07 million ($910,000) for home accessibility upgrades. Notably, individual social support rose by 84% and housing accessibility by 30%. Funds were also allocated for social clubs, group therapy, panic button maintenance, and social workers. The grants aim to enhance survivors’ quality of life, especially those who are elderly, isolated, or housebound.
