Jerusalem, 5 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli and German defense ministries have begun preparations for delivering the ‘Arrow 3’ missile defense system, developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), to the German army. A key meeting took place in Germany, led by Moshe Fattal of IAI, Colonel Carsten Cooper, and Yaakov Galifat, with participation from German firms IABG and MBDA, Israel’s Defense Ministry said.
The Arrow system, co-developed by Israel and the US, protects against long-range ballistic missiles.
Germany and Israel finalized the $4.3 billion purchase of the air defense system in 2024.
