Jerusalem, 17 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — An Israel Air Force aircraft overnight attacked a squad of armed Hamas terrorists that was operating near and outside the Al-Ma’amdani Hospital complex, in the Zaytun area in the central Gaza Strip.
The terrorists were identified storing and equipping weapons in the hospital complex and using it as a shelter.
Steps were taken before and during the attack to reduce the chance of harming civilians.
“The Hamas terrorist organization continues to use hospitals in the Gaza Strip for terrorist purposes, cynically and cruelly exploiting the civilian population in and around the hospital,” said the IDF.
