Islamic Jihad Transfers Hostages It Held to Hamas
Islamic Jihad transfers hostages to Hamas in Gaza. Israeli and foreign nationals among those to be released to Red Cross. 22 living hostages to be freed.
Jerusalem, 12 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Islamic Jihad handed over the Israeli hostages they were holding in Gaza to Hamas and the two terror organizations will release hostages to the Red Cross together.
Two more living hostages have been added to the list, one of whom is a foreign national, the other is Israeli Tamir Nimrodi.
A total of 22 live hostages will be released.
