Jerusalem, 11 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Sarting next school year, the international hit Israeli TV show Fauda will enter the film and media curriculum in Israeli schools. This as the Ministry of Education is promoting a new curriculum that focuses on Israeli television work and the way it reflects Israeli society, influences Israeli culture, and shapes Israeli identity.

Fauda is about Israeli counter-terrorism operatives. It is broadcast internationally on Netflix and has been a hit in Arab countries that have no diplomacy with Israel, and the UAE from even before the Abraham Accords.

The new program, will include for the first time a series of successful Israeli television series, which have become an “inseparable part of Israeli popular culture,” and have received numerous mentions and quotes: Fauda, Florentine, Havok, Tifaat, Nablot, Parashat Shavuot, Ama Vaabaz, Shtisel, Srougim, Avoda Arabi, and more.

These are original Israeli works, created by the best Israeli creators, have become cultural assets, and have received great success in Israel and around the world. The success of these series around the world indicates a significant rise of the Israeli voice and creation on the world stage, and emphasizes the high quality and wide variety of Israeli content in the field of television.
