In Montenegro, we have laid out a new network of connections with Israel
But beyond the breathtaking beauty lies a deep, serious, and high-potential dialogue.
Over the course of two intensive days, the Director General of Israel’s Ministry for Regional Cooperation visited Montenegro and held meetings with dozens of high-level officials — ministers, director generals, and deputy ministers — in the fields of innovation, education, academia, science, employment, youth, ecology and sustainability, information systems, and infrastructure.
In every meeting, one clear message echoed: unwavering support for Israel and a sincere desire to learn, grow, and move forward through partnership with the State of Israel.
We heard great appreciation for Israel’s capabilities, openness to new initiatives, and of course… stories about the 150,000 Israeli tourists who visit Montenegro each year — basking on its stunning beaches and warming the connection between our peoples.
But we believe in turning words into action. Since returning, we’ve been working diligently to advance the collaborations that were born — transforming ideas into reality, and connections into breakthrough projects.
The Ministry for Regional Cooperation continues to strengthen ties with countries in the region — driven by the belief that the future is built through partnerships.
And Montenegro? It’s a perfect example of what true partnership looks like when it begins with a smile, a conversation, and a shared desire to do good.
