The IDF officially announced on Saturday it targeted a facility in Sanaa where senior military and governmental figures of the Houthi terror regime were gathered. The strike was carried out on Thursday by Israeli Air Force jets under the guidance of Military Intelligence.
Among those present at the meeting was Houthi Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahawi, who was killed in the strike, alongside other senior officials responsible for the Houthis’ military operations and terrorist planning. Key figures in other central Houthi roles were also present.
The IDF noted the operation was enabled by a unique intelligence opportunity and executed within hours. Assessments of the strike’s outcomes are ongoing, including verifying the presence of additional senior military commanders.
