Jerusalem, 3 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Hundreds of would-be terrorists planning to carry out attacks were arrested last month, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has said.

Approximately 400 people were arrested in Judea and Samaria, with 160 weapons, and more than a million shekels confiscated.

An IDF spokesperson said: “During the last month, IDF forces, Border Police and Shin Bet operated in hundreds of villages to thwart terrorism in Judea and Samaria.

“As part of the operation, approximately 400 wanted individuals were arrested, including six terrorist cells that were planning to carry out attacks against residents of the State of Israel and the security forces, and hundreds of suspects were interrogated by the security forces.

“In addition, approximately 160 weapons and more than a million shekels that were used for terrorist purposes were confiscated.”
