Jerusalem, 2 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Hebrew University of Jerusalem has joined RobustifAI, a €9.3 million Horizon Europe consortium aimed at advancing trustworthy generative AI. Launched on June 1, the 36-month project brings together 18 partners from 12 countries, including universities, research institutes, startups, and industry giants like Siemens and Thales.
Led locally by Professor Guy Katz, the university will contribute expertise in verification and formal methods to help develop human-centric AI systems. The initiative focuses on integrating symbolic and neural approaches for use in high-stakes environments such as healthcare, autonomous vehicles, and smart manufacturing.
The consortium held its official kickoff in Vienna on June 5.
