Jerusalem, 24 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Earlier today (Thursday), the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) attacked and killed the Hamas terrorist Muhammad al-Amor, who was a leader in the smuggling of weapons into Gaza. Al-Amor was killed in an airstrike in Khan Yunis.
Al-Amor served as head of the goods terminal at the Rafah Crossing in Gaza. As part of his role, he managed the smuggling of hundreds of weapons and other military equipment into the Gaza Strip and directly assisted in the strengthening of the Hamas terror organization.
Over the years, said the IDF, he played a central role as part of the smuggling route of the terrorist organization Hamas into the Gaza Strip, commanding and leading the entry of weapons into the Gaza Strip and Hamas through aides.
The goods terminal served for years as a gateway for smuggling military equipment and weapons into the Gaza Strip, thus providing a support for the terrorist organization in order to advance and strengthen its military against the State of Israel.
