Jerusalem, 20 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — In response to the ceasefire violation committed by Hamas, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and the Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service) on Wednesday killed the head of the Hamas terror organization’s naval unit and a terrorist who took part in holding Israeli hostages, including Nimrod Cohen, David Cuneo and other hostages
Abdullah Abu Shamaleh was the head of the Hamas terror organization’s naval unit in the Gaza Strip, a senior Hamas terrorist who commanded the naval unit in several positions over the years. He was involved in the naval unit’s attempted infiltration of the Zikim outpost during Operation Protective Edge and took part in training the unit and planning the naval raid in the murderous massacre of October 7.
In addition, Shamaleh promoted many terrorist plots during the war against IDF forces, with an emphasis on naval targets
Fadi Abu Mustafa was responsible for a tunneling battalion in Hamas’ Khan Yunis Brigade, who took part in the holding of Israeli hostages, including Nimrod Cohen, David Kunio and other hostages.
