Jerusalem, 31 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Mohammed Sinwar, the brother of the previous Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, was killed earlier this week in an air strike, the IDF has confirmed after days of speculation.

He was killed along with Mohammed Shabana, as they hid in the European Hospital in Khan Yunis, Gaza. Shabana was the Head of Hamas’ military wing, the Rafah Brigade.
