Jerusalem, 21 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — As the new school year is set to start soon Israel’s Ministry of Education’s “Real Israel” reform – a systemic move to strengthen STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) studies and implement artificial intelligence in the education system – is underway.
The Ministry invested approximately half a billion Shekels ($145 million) in what it calls “one of the most significant moves the ministry has made in recent years,” including significant investments in teacher training and recruitment, upgrading curricula, upgrading technological systems, and more.
“This move is a significant step in the Ministry of Education’s vision to update teaching methods for the era of personalized learning” it said. “It presents an updated approach to STEM studies that emphasizes experiential and real-world relevant learning, incorporates the use of artificial intelligence, and adapts learning processes to strengthen students’ skills and optimally prepare them for the military, academia, and the future job market.”
The core of the activity will be in middle schools.
