Group of Israelis Vandalize, Set Fire to Military Base

Jerusalem, 30 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, during the night, a number of Israeli citizens set fire to and vandalized a security site containing systems that help thwart terrorist attacks and maintain security in the area of its Binyamin (Benjamin) Brigade area, which covers the region to the north of Jerusalem where the ancient Israelite tribe of Benjamin was situated.

The IDF said that the damage to the site poses a danger to the safety of residents and that it, “condemns any manifestation of violence against security forces, and expects security forces to bring to justice Israelis who harm security forces that are fulfilling their role in maintaining the safety of Israeli citizens.”

No motivation was given for the vandalism.
