Gaza City Operations Continue, Weapons Cache Located, Terrorists Eliminated

IDF operations in Gaza City continue as weapons cache is located and terrorists are eliminated. Updates on Operation “Gideon’s Chariots II” in Israel.

Jerusalem, 1 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that, as its units continue operations in the Gaza City area as part of Operation “Gideon’s Chariots II,” a cache of weapons was located in Gaza City and terrorists operating in a weapons depot were eliminated.

Last night (Tuesday) during forces of the IDF’s 36th “Ga’ash (Rage)” Division operating in the Gaza City area raided a military building where they located and confiscated a large amount of weapons and military equipment. In addition, they eliminated terrorists and destroyed terrorist infrastructure.

Meanwhile, forces of the IDF’s 162nd “Steel” Division continue their activities deep inside Gaza City, and in the past 24 hours the division identified a number of terrorists operating in the area and eliminated them shortly thereafter.

During the 98th Paratroopers Division’s operation in Gaza City over the past 24 hours, the division’s forces eliminated from the air a number of terrorists operating in a weapons depot.

During the operation of the IDF’s 99th “Ha’Bazak” (Lightning, res.) Infantry Division in the northern Gaza Strip, the forces eliminated terrorists who posed a threat to them, and attacked a number of buildings and terrorist infrastructure.
