France Demands Explanations From Vueling Over Incident
France demands explanations from Vueling over removal of Jewish children from flight. Israeli news.
Jerusalem, 26 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Jean-Noël Barrot, France’s foreign minister, spoke with the CEO of the Spanish airline Vueling, in relation to the removal of 50 Jewish children along with their summer camp counsellor, from one of its flights. Accrording to a statement released by the French Foreign Ministry, Barrot is said ‘to have demanded explanations’ about the incident.
The Ministry stated that ‘clarifications were requested regarding whether the children were subjected to discrimination related to their religion.’ The incident occurred on Wednesday in Valencia, Spain, after the children and teenagers, all French, sang Hebrew songs on the plane.
