Jerusalem, 16 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Four Israeli citizens from the Arab town Reineh in the Lower Galilee, Majd Fakha, Mustafa Fakha, Ibrahim Fakha, Batsul, were arrested on suspicion of committing what were described as “serious” weapons-related offenses.
Their parents reside in the city of Tubas in Samaria, which provided the four with a reason to travel through that area frequently.
During an investigation, it was revealed that some of the suspects passed information about the location of security forces in the Tubas area, conducted observations of the forces, and even assisted other operatives in evading capture. Additionally, some of the suspects participated in processions in Judea and Samaria while armed with rifles.
Furthermore, one of the suspects allegedly assisted in transferring tens of thousands of shekels to a terror operative, knowing that the money would be used to carry out terror activities.
The investigation also revealed that some of the suspects transferred weapons and ammunition for the benefit of operatives in the area, exploiting the fact that they hold Israeli identity cards, which grant them freedom of movement and free passage through checkpoints
In addition, an indictment is expected to be filed against another Israeli citizen, a resident of Ilut, after it was revealed during the investigations that he is involved in weapons-related offenses
