Former NBA Star Omri Casspi Expands Tel Aviv VC Firm With New $100M Fund

Jerusalem, 11 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Former Israeli basketball star Omri Casspi expanded his Tel Aviv–based venture capital firm, Swish Ventures, with a new $100 million Opportunity Fund, bringing total assets under management to $300 million. The fund will allow Swish to increase support for its strongest Israel-linked and global portfolio companies, which include Cognition, Upwind, Irregular, Applied Compute, and others.

Since launching its $63 million seed fund, Swish’s companies have generated more than $20 billion in enterprise value, with four reaching unicorn status in under three years. The new fund will make roughly eight investments in cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and AI, averaging $10 million each, with U.S. pension funds and foundations among its backers.

Casspi’s 21-year career included 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association.
