FM Sa’ar to depart for diplomatic visit to the Baltic States
FM Sa'ar will meet with his counterparts and other senior government officials. Among other meetings, FM Sa'ar will meet with the Estonian Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, as well as with the President of Latvia.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar will leave tonight (Monday, 30 June 2025) for a diplomatic visit to the three Baltic States – Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
These are three countries with good relations with Israel and are members of the European Union.
FM Sa’ar will visit Lithuania on Tuesday, Latvia, on Wednesday and Estonia on Thursday.
During the visit, FM Sa’ar will meet with his counterparts and other senior government officials. Among other meetings, FM Sa’ar will meet with the Estonian Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, as well as with the President of Latvia.
As part of his visit, FM Sa’ar will visit the memorial of the Ponary massacre, and a ceremony will be held there to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.
The Minister will be interviewed by local media and hold a series of press conferences.
In addition, he will hold meetings with the Jewish communities in the three countries.
