Jerusalem, 23 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met a short time ago in Kiyv with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Sa’ar’s office said that the meeting was “friendly and held in a good spirit.”
During the meeting, the two discussed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between their countries, the war in ukraine, and the situation in the Middle East, with an emphasis on Iran.
Sa’ar asked President Zelensky to lead a declaration in the Ukrainian parliament calling the Iranian Revolutionary Guards a terrorist organization.
Minister Sa’ar also presented the importance of the immediate activation of SnapBack by the E-3 countries (Germany, France, and the United Kingdom) that requires the reinstatement of sanctions on Iran.
He also presented President Zelenskyy with the “Dina Project” report on Hamas’s crimes of rape and sexual violence during the October 7 massacre.
Sa’ar, who had previously visited Babi Yar, thanked President Zelensky for his commitment and activity to preserve the memory of the Holocaust.
