Epsilor Introduces Next-Generation Military Vehicle Battery
Epsilor introduces new COMBATT 6T lithium-ion battery with highest energy capacity on the market for military vehicles. See it at DSEI 2025 defense expo.
Jerusalem, 2 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli company Epsilor Electric Fuel Ltd. has introduced a new COMBATT 6T lithium-ion battery for military vehicles, offering the highest energy capacity on the market. The battery delivers 4,400Wh/174Ah — six times more than lead-acid models and 50% higher than other lithium 6T batteries — while weighing just 27kg.
A 6T battery is a NATO-standard battery used mainly in military vehicles, such as tanks, armored personnel carriers, and other defense systems.
The battery will be showcased at the DSEI 2025 defense expo in London on September 9.
Epsilor, part of U.S.-based Arotech Corporation, is also working to secure U.S. Army certification, with testing underway. The Israel-based firm develops advanced batteries and power systems for defense, aerospace, and industrial use.
