Doctor at Ichilov Hospital Contracts Measles After Treating Unvaccinated Girl; Incident Under Investigation

The Ministry of Health reports an unusual case in which a vaccinated doctor at Ichilov Hospital was infected with measles after treating an unvaccinated child who had measles.

At the same time, there is concern that two additional medical staff members may also have been infected.

The Ministry of Health and Ichilov Hospital are conducting a thorough contact tracing investigation, and the incident is being closely monitored and reviewed.
