Dead Sea Concession Bill Draft: Public Hearing Dates Published

Ministry of Finance publishes public hearing dates for Dead Sea Concession Bill draft, Jan 6-12, 2026. Written comments accepted until Jan 18, 2026.

On December 3, 2025, the Ministry of Finance published the Dead Sea Concession Law, 2025 draft for public comments.

Public comments must be submitted on the government legislation website at the following link: Dead Sea Concession Law, 2025 draft.

Comments will be accepted until January 18, 2026, at 23:59.

The Ministry of Finance will hold concentrated days for hearing public comments.

A condition for participating in these days is the submission of written comments as stated above, with coordination made according to need and based on prioritization determined by the project team.
The public hearing days will take place on January 6-12, 2026, at the Ministry of Finance in Jerusalem, in the following distribution:

  • Tuesday, January 6, 2026 – Public entities and local authorities
  • Wednesday, January 7, 2026 – Civil society organizations, non-profits, and citizens
  • Thursday, January 8, 2026 – Civil society organizations, non-profits, and citizens
  • Sunday, January 11, 2026 – Business entities with an interest in the concession
  • Monday, January 12, 2026 – Business entities with an interest in the concession

To coordinate participation in the public hearing days, a request should be sent by email to Tamar Farhi, Manager of the Dead Sea Concession area at the Accountant General, at the email address: tamarfa@mof.gov.il
