Dead Hostages Issue – Israel Imposes Sanctions On Hamas

Israel imposes sanctions on Hamas after the terrorist organization fails to return dead hostages. Rafah crossing closed, aid reduced.

Jerusalem, 14 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Following the terrorist organisation’s violation of its commitment to return the bodies of hostages, the political echelon accepted the recommendation of the defence establishment and decided to impose sanctions against Hamas.

Among other measures, the Rafah crossing will not open tomorrow to allow Gazans to leave, as stipulated in the agreement. The flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip will also be reduced.
