Jerusalem, 14 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Tel Aviv-based fintech startup Celery has raised $6.25 million in seed funding to expand its AI-powered financial operations platform. Led by Team8, the round included Verissimo Ventures, Centre Street Partners, and 97212 Ventures, bringing total funding to $9 million.

Celery helps finance teams in industries like healthcare and construction catch costly payroll and compliance errors in real time—without software setup. The platform has analyzed over $550 million in payroll data and prevented $2.3 million in losses to date.

Celery plans to use the new capital to grow its product line, including tools for fraud detection and fixed asset audits.
