Jerusalem, 3 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Cato Networks, an Israeli-founded Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) leader, announced its first-ever acquisition, acquiring AI security startup Aim Security to expand the Cato SASE Cloud Platform and enable secure enterprise adoption of AI applications and agents. The company also surpassed $300 million in annual recurring revenue and extended its Series G financing round to $409 million with an additional $50 million from Acrew Capital.

Founded in 2022 and backed by Israeli venture firm YL Ventures, Aim Security provides a full AI security platform that protects employee use of public AI tools, secures private AI applications and agents, and manages AI development lifecycles. The acquisition integrates Aim’s capabilities into Cato’s cloud-native SASE platform, enhancing visibility, threat detection, and AI governance.

Cato plans to fully offer Aim’s features within its SASE platform by early 2026.
