Jerusalem, 2 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Hezbollah’s ongoing financial crisis has forced the group to halt assistance to homeowners whose properties were damaged in the recent war with Israel, the London-based Asharq al-Awsat reported on Wednesday. In Beirut’s Dahiyeh district, a Hezbollah stronghold, destroyed buildings remain untouched as pledged support has gone undelivered, the paper said.
During 12 days of fighting between Israel and Iran, Israel assassinated numerous commanders in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, including figures responsible for funneling money and weapons to Hezbollah.
