Jerusalem, 20 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Cash and vehicles tied to terrorist activities were confiscated in what the Israel Police called a broad operation carried out last night in cooperation with the Economic Counterterrorism Headquarters (ECT) at the Ministry of Defense to enforce the orders of the Minister of Defense against former security prisoners in eastern Jerusalem.
As part of the operation, police forces raided the homes of 10 former security prisoners who had received support money from the Palestinian Authority, in violation of the law, in return for terrorist acts they had committed in the past.
During the operation, hundreds of thousands of shekels in cash and sums of money in foreign currencies were seized. In addition, four vehicles and a motorcycle were seized and are scheduled for confiscation.
