Jerusalem, 29 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Indictments were filed against David Asulin, a resident of Ashdod, and against a company he owns for allegedly smuggling 10 million cigarettes into Israel through the Ashdod port, in exchange for a commission of 20,000 Shekels ($6,000).

According to the indictment, near and during the months of August and September 2023, the defendant allowed others, together with and through the company he owns, “David Asulin Ltd.”, in exchange for a commission, to use the company, including its address, in order to illegally import goods into Israel on two different occasions, while making false representations to the Customs Administration and the Tax Authority.
