Agriculture Ministry Boosts Farm Protections Amid Missiles Attacks

Jerusalem, 23 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security is expanding protections for livestock farms nationwide as missile attacks from Iran continue. The ministry plans to add security measures to coops, barns, teats, and pens,

“Placing protections on farms is essential to keep farmers safe and ensure shelves remain stocked,” said ministry Director General Oren Lavie.

Farmers can apply for support based on risk level, farm size, and activity type. Priority will go to farms in higher-risk areas.
