4-Year-Old Israeli Girl Dies of Heatstroke After Being Left in Closed Car

Jerusalem, 14 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A four-year-old girl died Thursday in the Bedouin town of Ar’arat an-Naqab after being left in a closed vehicle for an extended period, Magen David Adom (MDA) said. She was brought to a local clinic in the Negev town with severe burns and signs of heatstroke. MDA paramedics Alyosef Al-Malakh and Ahmed Abu Tsaluk began resuscitation efforts upon arrival but were unable to save her.

“This is a shocking case,” the medics said, describing how the child was unconscious, without a pulse, and not breathing when they reached the clinic. Despite immediate CPR, they were forced to declare her dead at the scene.
