4-Year-Old Israeli Girl Dies of Heatstroke After Being Left in Closed Car
Jerusalem, 14 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A four-year-old girl died Thursday in the Bedouin town of Ar’arat an-Naqab after being left in a closed vehicle for an extended period, Magen David Adom (MDA) said. She was brought to a local clinic in the Negev town with severe burns and signs of heatstroke. MDA paramedics Alyosef Al-Malakh and Ahmed Abu Tsaluk began resuscitation efforts upon arrival but were unable to save her.
“This is a shocking case,” the medics said, describing how the child was unconscious, without a pulse, and not breathing when they reached the clinic. Despite immediate CPR, they were forced to declare her dead at the scene.
authorities have not yet reported further details on the circumstances.
