Jerusalem, 12 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Disability Administration at Israel’s ministry of Social Affairs published the first phase of what it described as an “innovative and broad” tender to operate housing frameworks throughout the country worth approximately 3 billion Shekels ($870 million).

The goal of the first phase is to locate public or private entities for the purpose of operating therapeutic-rehabilitative housing frameworks nationwide. The tender is part of a large-scale initiative to promote the rights of people with disabilities and promote independent living in the community.

The entities that win the tender are expected to provide services to approximately 20,000 people with disabilities.
