Jerusalem, 4 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — During an operational activity by Jerusalem District Police and Border Police near the a-Za’im crossing by Jerusalem, 11 Palestinians illegally residing in Israel and two drivers suspected of accepting payment for transporting them were arrested.

One driver, a resident of Ma’ale Adumim age 50, was caught transporting five illegal residents and claimed during his interrogation that he “just took them as hitchhikers.”

In another case that occurred in southern Jerusalem, Border Police arrested a resident of eastern Jerusalem and seized six Palestinians illegally residing in Israel who were hidden in the trunk of his car.
