Jerusalem, 4 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Six suspects were arrested and another four are detained for questioning in a corruption probe involving the CEO of a large municipal corporation tied to the Tel Aviv Municipality, the Israeli Police announced on Wednesday. The investigation, which began weeks ago undercover, centers on suspicions of bribery, aggravated fraud, and money laundering. Authorities allege the CEO had corrupt ties with contractors, suppliers, and franchisees, promoting their interests in exchange for bribes.
Searches were conducted at suspects’ homes and offices. All were taken for questioning, and police are expected to request extended detention at the Rishon LeZion Magistrate’s Court later today.
