48 people Wounded in Iranian Attacks Over Past 24 Hours
Magen David Adom treated 48 people for injuries and anxiety from Iranian attacks over the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,194 since Operation "Roaring.
Jerusalem, 17 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Magen David Adom reported that in the past 24 hours (until 7:00 PM, March 17), its teams provided medical treatment to 48 people across the country who were injured on their way to a protected area, or who suffered from anxiety, during Iranian attacks.
Since the beginning of Operation ” Roaring Lion” against Iran, Magen David Adom teams have provided medical treatment to 1,194 people, of whom 1,017 were physically injured and 177 suffered from anxiety.
260 of the physically injured were injured by missile fire, including:
* 12 fatalities, of whom 11 who were pronounced dead on the scene and one who died of his wounds in the hospital
* 5 serious wounded
* 12 moderately wounded
* 231 mildly wounded
754 were injured on the way to protected areas – 14 of them in traffic accidents when they stopped on the side of the road when the alarm sounded – and three were killed.
