Bus Services to Central Israel Now Available for Returning Israelis Crossing from Egypt at Eilat

Israelis returning from Egypt via the Taba border crossing can now access bus services to Eilat, Beer Sheva, Ben-Gurion Airport, and Tel Aviv, following air.

Jerusalem, 3 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Since all air traffic in and out of Israel has been suspended due to the conflict with Iran, Israel’s Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety is providing a transportation solution for passengers returning to Israel via the Taba border crossing between Eilat and Egypt.

Buses were made available to passengers landing at Taba Airport on arranged “rescue flights” and crossing the border into Israel, waiting to exit the terminal in Israeli territory, in accordance with the landing times of flights at the Egyptian airport.

The buses are available to passengers and make trips to the following main destinations: Eilat Central Bus Station, Beer Sheva Central Bus Station, Ben-Gurion Airport (long-term parking) and Tel Aviv Savidor Central Train Station.
