This week, the West Bank Border Police undercover unit, led by the IDF’s Ephraim Brigade and guided by the Shin Bet, operated in the area of the village of Shweika to arrest the terrorist Fadi Bahti, who served as a central bomb maker in the terrorist organization in Tulkarm.
The fighters entered the village in an undercover and overt manner, reached the terrorist’s family home, surrounded the structure, broke in, and arrested him. The terrorist was transferred for further investigation by the Shin Bet.
The security forces continue to operate to thwart terrorism in the area, against anyone who harms or attempts to harm Israeli citizens and security forces.
