Following a report of a stolen vehicle from the Ramot neighborhood, extensive searches began with the assistance of the observation systems of the Jerusalem District Control Center. Police observers identified the suspect vehicle in motion and directed forces towards it. The suspect, who identified the police roadblocks, attempted to escape by driving recklessly and dangerously on the road, during which he rammed a truck and two police patrol cars in an attempt to flee, until he was arrested by the officers. Upon checking his identity, it was revealed that he is a minor, an illegal resident, who has never obtained a driver’s license. The suspect’s arrest was extended for further investigative actions.
