Four suspects were arrested and an indictment will be filed against them. Following a random check by the Tax Authority at Ben Gurion Airport that led to suspicion of smuggling ketamine, a covert investigation was opened by the Central Unit of the Coastal District, which lasted several weeks. During the investigation, the unit managed to track down those involved in the affair. As the investigation moved to an open stage, forces acted to arrest the suspects and conduct searches, during which findings were seized that allegedly link them to offenses of drug trafficking and distribution. Yesterday, a prosecutor’s statement was filed against the four suspects, and the prosecution intends to file an indictment against them.
