The IDF attacked a strategic research and development site used by the Iranian terror regime to develop components for the production of nuclear weapons in Tehran, as part of the waves of attacks recently completed in Tehran.

The “Malek Ashtar” University website served the military industries and the ballistic missile system of the Iranian terrorist regime for the development of components for nuclear weapons and weapons of war. “Malek Ashtar” University is subordinate to the Iranian Ministry of Defense and is under international sanctions due to its decades-long activity in promoting the nuclear program and developing ballistic missiles. The attack constitutes another layer in the ongoing effort to harm the regime’s ability to advance towards acquiring nuclear weapons, and joins a series of actions carried out during Operation “Lion’s Roar,” whose goal is broad and continuous damage to all elements of the regime. The IDF will not allow the Iranian regime to acquire nuclear weapons.
