Terrorist Apprehended in Shechem

Border Police operatives arrested a wanted man suspected of terror activity inspired by Hamas in Shechem's Balata refugee camp overnight.

Jerusalem, 26 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — During the night, Border Police undercover operatives in Judea and Samaria operated in the Balata refugee camp in Shechem (Nablus) to arrest a wanted man suspected of terror activity inspired by Hamas.

The undercover force arrived covertly at the wanted man’s home, breached the house compound using specialized means, and acted to apprehend him. During the operation, a tactical dog was used to assist in subduing the suspect.
