The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi, visited yesterday (Friday) a logistics center established by the Technology and Logistics Directorate in the center of the country, along with the head of the Technology and Logistics Directorate, Major General Rami Abudraham, and other commanders.
During the visit, a situation assessment was held with the directorate’s commanders, who presented him with the logistical envelope and effort in Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’.
“I see the cooperation with the US Army here once again. I want to convey my condolences for the six killed in the unfortunate accident the day before yesterday,” said the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi. “Our partners in the United States Army are doing unprecedented work in the historic war we are in, and we are full of appreciation for that. This is a war against a terror regime that threatens not only the State of Israel but the stability and security of the entire Middle East.”
“We have been in an existential war for over two years. The personnel of the directorate, with all its systems – you are creating the infrastructure for the continuity of fighting, for endurance, and for the IDF’s achievements in this campaign. Each and every one of you is a significant part of the successes and achievements. I appreciate your hard work around the clock and your great contribution. Much appreciation – I trust you.”
