Ministry of Construction and Housing awarded emergency preparedness standard to strengthen ministry readiness and operational continuity in emergencies
The Ministry of Construction and Housing was awarded an emergency preparedness standard, a pilot program to ensure continuity of public services during.
Today’s ceremony recognizes the processes undertaken by the Ministry of Construction and Housing to prepare the ministry for ensuring functional continuity and continued provision of essential services to the public, both in routine and in emergencies. This follows extensive professional work led by the Ministry’s Emergency and Security Department. As part of the process, the Ministry of Construction and Housing was selected by the National Emergency Management Authority to serve as a pilot among the first ministries to implement the model.

The standard reflects thorough professional work and cooperation among all Ministry units, with the aim of ensuring functional continuity and providing a response to the public even in complex and challenging times.”
