76 People Across Israel Injured in Past 24 Hours in Missile/Rocket Attacks

Over 76 people were injured in Israel in the last 24 hours from missile and rocket attacks, with 20 injured by shrapnel.

Jerusalem, 9 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) โ€” Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that over the past 24 hours, as of 8:30 PM, on Monday, March 9, its teams provided medical treatment to 76 people across the country, including 20 who were injured by the shards of intercepted rockets and missiles. Of the 20, one was killed, one was critically injured, one seriously, one moderately and 16 were lightly injured.

The rest, 56 people, were injured on their way to a protected area or suffered from anxiety.

Since the beginning of Operation โ€œRoaring Lionโ€ against Iran, Magen David Adom teams have provided medical treatment to 772 wounded people, of whom 678 were physically injured and 94 were suffered from anxiety after attacks.

167 of the injured were hurt by missile fire, of whom, 11 were killed, five were seriously wounded, eight moderately and โ 143were lightly injured.

510 of the people were injured on the way to a protected area, of whom one was killed, and eight were injured in traffic accidents when they stopped on the side of the road during an alarm.
