Jerusalem, 25 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Over the past day, the Israeli Air Force struck more than 170 targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including terrorists, military structures, weapons storage facilities and terror infrastructure sites, the Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops continued dismantling terrorist infrastructure and eliminating terrorists in Gaza City, Hamas’ last stronghold. Additionally, several terrorist infrastructure sites that were used for ambushes against soldiers were struck, along with additional weapons storage facilities.

On Wednesday, IDF soldiers identified and killed a terrorist armed with an explosive device attempting to carry out an imminent attack.

In the northern Gaza Strip, troops dismantled above-ground and below-ground terrorist infrastructure including an ambush post where an explosive device was found.

In the southern Gaza Strip, soldiers eliminated several terrorists who approached the soldiers and posed an immediate threat.

Approximately 1,200 people were killed, and 252 Israelis and foreigners were taken hostage in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on October 7. Of the 48 remaining hostages, about 20 are believed to be alive.

Jerusalem, 18 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli forces struck multiple rocket launchers in the southern Gaza Strip that were aimed at Israeli territory, the Israel Defense Forces said Monday.

Meanwhile, troops continued operations in northern and central Gaza to dismantle underground and aboveground terror infrastructure, while the soldiers targeted terrorists and weapons in the Strip’s southern areas.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Saturday, 5 July 2025) [translated from Hebrew]:

“I would like to send my best wishes for a speedy recovery to the employees of the American aid foundation, who were wounded in the terrorist incident that was perpetrated by Hamas terrorists at the food distribution facility.

The foundation employees are doing important work and I thank them and President Trump for the aid.

The entire world needs to stand up and condemn the severe incident, which again reveals the brutality of Hamas.

The UN must stop opposing the activity of the aid foundation and act in concert so that the latter might continue to safely act on behalf of the residents of the Gaza Strip.”

PM Netanyahu visited the northern Gaza Strip together with Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir, Head of Southern Command Maj.-Gen. Yaniv Asor and division and brigade commanders.

The Prime Minister received a security briefing from the area commanders on the intensive IDF activity to free the hostages and defeat Hamas in Gaza.

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz then spoke with division, brigade and battalion commanders, as well as with reservist and conscript fighters, and emphasized the importance of continuing the military pressure on the Hamas terrorist organization.

The Prime Minister’s Chief-of-Staff, Tzachi Braverman, National Security Council Director Tzachi Hanegbi, the Prime Minister’s Military Secretary, Maj.-Gen. Roman Gofman and the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson, Dr. Omer Dostri, accompanied the visit.

Prime Minister Netanyahu:

“I am here with the Defense Minister, IDF commanders, our conscript fighters, and our amazing reservists. They are doing marvelous work in the Gaza Strip. They are striking the enemy – and Hamas is taking more and more blows.

We insist that our hostages be released and we insist on achieving all of our objectives for the war, and are doing so thanks to our heroic fighters. They are simply doing amazing work.

I would like to tell you what we are fighting for and why we are fighting: It is a post issued by the tyrant of Iran, the Ayatollah Khamenei, today, in which he explains why Israel must be destroyed. He did this during the negotiations with the Americans.

We are fighting for our existence. We are fighting for our future.”

Defense Minister Katz:

“I am here together with the Prime Minister, and IDF commanders and soldiers, who are doing fantastic work.

This position that we are in overlooks Gaza. It is a blow to the terrorists’ heads, strikes the infrastructure of terrorism, and – at the same time – protects the Israeli communities. This is the way we do things and these are our lessons.

Jerusalem, 20 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that during an operation in the southern Gaza Strip to clear the area its 188th Armored Brigade’s Combat Team located a shaft containing dozens of weapons used by terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, including Kalashnikov-type weapons, RPGs, and cartridges..

Israeli forces continue to operate in the southern Gaza Strip to destroy terrorist infrastructure and clear the Yellow Line area.

Jerusalem, 12 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — President Isaac Herzog met with Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu in Jerusalem, on Monday, where they discussed the implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan for Gaza.

Herzog called for the urgent return of the last hostage held in Gaza, Police Staff Sgt. Ran Gvili, and stressed the need for regional stability and disarming Hamas.

The two also discussed advancing bilateral cooperation in technology, science, security, and tourism.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem, with Nickolay Mladenov, who is set to become the Director of the Gaza Strip Board of Peace.

The Prime Minister reiterated that Hamas must be disarmed and the Gaza Strip must be demilitarized in accordance with the 20-point plan of President Trump.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today at his office in Jerusalem with Nikolay Mladenov, who is designated for the role of Director-General of the “Peace Council” in the Gaza Strip.

Jerusalem, 8 January, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces said it detected a failed rocket launch from Gaza City toward Israeli territory on Thursday, with the projectile falling short and landing inside the Gaza Strip near a hospital.
