Jerusalem, 5 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — According to original data from Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, the average salary for a (monthly) salaried position at current prices in July 2025 was 14,109, Shekels ($4,273), an increase of 4.3% compared to July 2024 – 13,521 Shekels ($4,095).
The average salary for an employee position at constant prices (deducted by the monthly consumer price index) was 11,372 Shekels ($3,444), an increase of 1.2% compared to July 2024 – 11,237 Shekels ($3,403).
The number of salaried jobs was 4.191 million, an increase of 1.7% compared to June 2025 (4.121 million) and an increase of 1.0% compared to July 2024 (4.148 million).
Flash estimates for August 2025 (based on partial data available)
The average salary for an employee position at current prices for all employees was 13,637 Shekels ($4,117), an increase of 4.7% compared to August 2024 – 13,028 Shekels ($3,946). The average salary for an employee position at current prices for Israeli employees was 13,926 Shekels ($4,218), an increase of 5.0% compared to August 2024 – 13,267 Shekels ($4,018).
Salaried jobs – According to the flash estimates for August 2025, the number of salaried jobs for all employees was 4.315 million, a decrease of 2.2% compared to July 2025 (4.412 million) and an increase of 2.4% compared to August 2024 (4.213 million).
The number of salaried jobs for Israeli workers (out of the number of salaried jobs for all workers) was 4.091 million, a decrease of 2.4% compared to July 2025 (4.191 million) and an increase of 1.6% compared to August 2024 (4.027 million).
