Fifth Measles Death in Israel: Unvaccinated Jerusalem Toddler Dies

Jerusalem, 25 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Health Ministry reported the death of a one-and-a-half-year-old unvaccinated toddler from Jerusalem due to measles. This marks the fifth fatality in the current outbreak, with three deaths occurring in the past week alone.

Health officials urge parents to ensure their children receive the measles vaccine at ages one and six, as part of Israel’s routine immunization program.
