“I welcome the approval of the appointment of retired District Court Judge Nechama Munitz to the position of Chairperson of the Placement Committee for the Council of the Public Broadcasting Corporation.
For too long, the Public Broadcasting Corporation has operated without proper oversight, which has impacted its ability to reflect the diversity of opinions in Israeli society. I am confident that, G-d willing, retired Judge Munitz will lead the way to rectify the situation and ensure that the Council of the Public Broadcasting Corporation and its broadcasts faithfully reflect the Israeli public in all its diversity, as required by law.”
Retired Judge Adv. Nechama Munitz, stated:
“As I have done for many years in my position as a judge and in all public positions since then, I am prepared to serve the needs of the public to the best of my ability.”
