In another incident earlier this week (Thursday), IDF forces in the Southern Command attacked and destroyed another weapons depot containing explosives, RPG launchers, hand grenades, and magazines belonging to the terrorist organization Hamas in the central Gaza Strip. The weapons were intended to harm IDF forces operating in the area of the “Green Line” and Israeli civilians, and were destroyed in order to remove the threat. Following the attacks, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons in the warehouses. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
